Evil Dead: The Musical

UGA Theatre—November 2025
Inspired by the hit B-movies by Sam Raimi, Evil Dead: The Musical is a gory, campy classic about 5 college-aged kids who spend their spring break at a seemingly abandoned cabin in the woods. When weird noises, talking trees, and a suspicious amount of self defense mechanisms surface, they soon realize that they cabin may not be as abandoned as they think. Evil Dead is full of hilarious one-liners and catchy music that is perfect for a bloody-good night at the theatre.

This batch of photos from Evil Dead marks the first time that I ever photographed a staged production. It was a whirlwind trying to figure out how to perfectly balance the camera settings with fluctuating lighting while trying to get the right angles, but I had a blast. I was completely in awe of how much a difference editing photos in Lightroom can make. I had so much fun taking photos and have done it for every UGA Theatre show since!
